Our parents and teachers would always remind us to sit up and stand straight when we were young. It was almost impossible for us to keep this lesson in mind and so here we are- debilitated and suffering from being disobedient in the past. The importance of having good posture is essentially realized when we reach our adult years. Although bad posture may have been our habit during the first few years of life until adolescence, it is only during our later adult years that we start feeling the pain and the negative side effects of bad posture.

Always look for a quality ergonomic chair that will not only look comfortable, but feel comfortable as well. It is not hard to keep up with a good posture, provided that you have the right tools and equipment for the job.

– Become more aware of your posture and correct if necessary
It is really hard to remind oneself to correct the posture when you have a hundred and one things running through your mind. You may have to ask family members and friends to help you in maintaining good posture. Ask them to remind you if they observe that you are going back to your bad posture practices.
